The Regional Police Commander North East, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Victor Manfred Williams, on Tuesday, 21st October 2025, addressed twenty new Family Support Unit (FSU) recruits from the North East and North West regions.
During the opening session of a four-day training on the Revised Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Guidelines and Case Management Manual, held at the SLTU Multi-Purpose Hall, Mena Hills, Makeni, AIG Williams emphasized the importance of professionalism and discipline, particularly when handling sexual and gender-based cases.
The training aims to equip the new personnel with the knowledge and skills required to respond effectively to SGBV incidents while maintaining ethical standards.
