The 2026/27 Leone Rock Premier League season will conclude on Sunday, 19 July 2026, with the battle to avoid relegation taking centre stage as several clubs fight to preserve their top flight status.
Although Bo Rangers have already been crowned league champions ahead of the final round, the race for survival remains fiercely contested, with multiple teams still at risk of dropping into the lower division.
The champions will wrap up their successful campaign against Mighty Blackpool at the Southern Arena. While Bo Rangers will be celebrating their title triumph, the match carries enormous significance for Blackpool, who sit 14th on 38 points, just one point above the relegation zone.
SLIFA FC, occupying 15th place with 37 points, face a difficult away fixture against Old Edwardians FC, who are fourth in the standings. A positive result will be crucial if SLIFA are to avoid relegation.
Another team under pressure is Abacha City, who are 16th with 36 points. They face a stern challenge against FC Kallon, knowing that only victory may be enough to keep their survival hopes alive.
Already relegated Luawa FC will play their final match of the season against Sheka Wilberforce Strikers, who sit 11th on 40 points but have yet to secure mathematical safety.
The relegation battle also extends to Wusum Stars, currently 12th on 40 points, who face second-placed Star Sport Academy, while Diamond Stars, also on 40 points in 13th place, travel to face Bai Bureh Warriors in Port Loko.
Last season’s runners-up Bhantal FC are not yet out of danger despite occupying 10th place with 40 points. They host Kamboi Eagles knowing that a favourable result would remove any remaining doubts about their Premier League status.
With the championship already decided, the final day’s attention will firmly be on the struggle for survival, where every goal, point and result could determine which clubs remain in Sierra Leone’s top division and which will face relegation at the end of a dramatic season.
