Dora Bangura has reaffirmed her commitment to promoting unity, professionalism, and student development within the Law Society, highlighting the importance of collaboration in creating a supportive academic environment.
A Law student with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from IPAM, Bangura believes student organizations play a vital role in shaping future professionals by providing opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and personal growth.
Drawing from her academic and personal experiences, she noted that the Law Society can further strengthen student engagement by encouraging inclusivity, cooperation, and active participation among its members.
According to Bangura, creating an environment where students feel valued and supported is essential for both academic success and professional development. She stressed that meaningful progress is achieved when students work together toward shared goals while upholding professionalism and mutual respect.
“I believe in service, unity, and creating opportunities for every student to feel included and supported,” she said.
Bangura underscored the need to strengthen relationships among students, promote knowledge-sharing, and encourage participation in activities that contribute to academic excellence and career growth.
She further described the Law Society as an important platform for students to develop leadership skills, expand professional networks, and engage in constructive discussions on issues affecting the legal profession and society.
“Every student has something valuable to contribute. When we create an environment that encourages participation and collaboration, we position ourselves to achieve greater success as a society,” she stated.
Bangura also emphasized the importance of accountability, integrity, and service, noting that these values are fundamental to both the study and practice of law.
As the Law Society continues to grow, she expressed confidence in its ability to foster academic achievement, professional advancement, and a stronger sense of community among students.
She concluded by encouraging her colleagues to embrace unity, support one another, and remain committed to excellence and professionalism.
“Together, we can build a stronger and more inclusive society that empowers students to reach their full potential and make meaningful contributions to the legal profession,” she said.
